To mark our first release of 2023, we welcome back the talented Kato De Vidts to the family. De Vidts appeared on our Stand with Ukraine compilation last year with her track 'Receiver' and ever since we were excited to have her for her second full EP on our Alternative Earth Series.

The basis for many of the tracks on her 'Human Becomings' EP were created for a DJ performance at Horst Arts & Music Festival's ambient stage last year. Her aim for this performance was to create a collective serenity through music, a unified experience where the audience would be encouraged to shed light on their own vulnerable presence and emotion.

Her creative process is now extended on this EP and becomes an invitation inwards for the listener. Each track is in some way inspired by De Vidts own personal feelings, memories and experiences. And in the sharing of these personal extracts through music, De Vidts hopes listeners might be able to recognise the depths of their own inner worlds, to feel and embrace them.
